Liar, Liar, Lying Pants on Fibbing Fire

The Daily Recycler has a video clip that must be seen to be believed. I don’t think I’ve seen someone break down on television so thoroughly since Bud Dwyer ventilated his skull on Eyewitness News. Can’t we just give O’Neill and O’Donnell a pair of tent pegs and let them work it out somewhere?

Larry, at least let the man talk, for Christ’s sake. Is that all the liberal left has? If you disagree on an issue, you’re a liar. The notion that people can have differing opinions on matters is gone: there’s the left’s truth, and everybody else’s lies. Must be nice to have the monopoly on objective reality.

(Thanks to Michelle Malkin for the pointer.)

I haven’t seen the clip, and I don’t have the technological capacity to do so, so I’ll take your word for it that it was a childish screaming match.

But isn’t that what all these shows are? From Crossfire to O’Reilly Factor to whatever? These shows are jokes! I hope people do not try to be informed through these crap filled dialogues. They’re no different than seeing monkeys hurl doo-doo at zoo patrons.

  • Most shows are similar, yes. This case is particularly egregious because O’Neill was calmly trying to answer questions on the show, and O’Donnell was literally yelling “Liar, liar, lies, lies, you creepy liar” every time O’Neill opened his mouth. O’Neill simply couldn’t get a word in edgewise.

O’Neill is kind of a creepy liar, even back when he tried the same thing in the early 1970′s (that time he was backed by Nixon, though). Still, there’s no useful information from those shows. O’Neill should just hold up the book he co-wrote and leave it at that.
