Just received a call from the IUPAT, which has now identified the union member who grabbed the Bush/Cheney sign from Phil Parlock’s daughter and threw the pieces at the family as they left the event. “We are taking steps to deal with the individual,” the union told me.

Who is “the union”? Since when could a union make phone calls? Malkin offers not one ounce of verifiable proof (i.e. the union spokesperson’s name – sorry but “the union” doesn’t cut it, the union member’s name, maybe a photo of the union goon). Her “evidence” wouldn’t hold up in even a kangaroo court. Why would any member of the IUPAT call a hostile media source before anyone else to denounce one of their own members? How does Malkin know it wasn’t an imposter telling her what she wanted to hear? Where did she get her investigative journalism skills – Dan Rather University?
Interesting points, Patriot. I for one find myself viewing EVERYTHING I read these days with a healthy dose of skepticism. You just don’t know whom to believe–they may be telling the truth, they may have been duped or misled, or they may just be flat out lying.
