I had the opportunity to ask a man falling from a very tall building what he thinks of the poorly-administered Cash for Clunkers program, set to end tomorrow:
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaahhh -*splat*
Well, there you have it. I hope he’ll be in a better mood tomorrow.
Did that man really say “splat” at the end? I think that man possessed an incredible presence of mind to keep his wits about him to say “splat” at the end of his fall. Not many people in his position would have done that.
The asterisks flanking the term “splat” should have given you the clue that it wasn’t an utterance, but a sound effect.
Grow up.
I thought those asterixes were something else entirely.
