QUOTE AND PHOTO OF THE WEEK

Ukranian Nazi

John Demjanjuk, left, is helped by former son-in-law Ed Nichnis as he arrives for a deportation hearing at the federal office building in Cleveland on Feb. 28, 2005. Chief U.S. Immigration Judge Michael Creppy on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, ordered Demjanjuk, accused of being a Nazi concentration camp guard, deported to his native Ukraine.

“Justice in this case is long delayed. No one should confuse anything happening to John Demjanjuk as anything but justice. It’s not vengeance.” –Rabbi Abraham Cooper of the Simon Wiesenthal Center

I’m reading a book right now about Simon Wiesenthal called Nazi Hunter. It’s the first time I’ve read anything regarding what went on inside the Concentration camps. From what I can tell so far, it’s definitely not really vengeance, but even if it was, I wouldn’t complain.

  • “Nazi Hunter” was one of the best books I’ve ever read. Both deeply disturbing and very uplifting.

The Demjanjuk case has been going on since the 80′s, if not before. I hope that this time they nail the bastard.

There is no statute of limitations on murder, treason or crimes against humanity just for this reason. Not for revenge, but to see that justice is carried out as an example for future generations.
