The Smoking Gun’s latest article is titled, Texas Hold ‘Em, In Bed
MAY 26–A Texas woman faces a misdemeanor assault charge for her rough treatment of a man who refused to prolong a recent sex session between the pair. According to the below Travis County Sheriff’s Office affidavit, Jannette Pulido, 23, climbed on top of Frederick Parke and squeezed his genitals after he declined additional trysting. Pulido then allegedly directed some threats at her paramour’s private parts and began tussling with the 25-year-old Parke, who was slightly injured. He ejected Pulido from his Austin pad and called the cops, to whom he told his sad story of unrequited love.
I don’t know what’s worse: the crime, or the spelling of the officer “handling” the case:
Jannette Pulido…became angry after he hold her that he did not want to have anymore sex this evening (04/02/05). According to Ben Jannette grabbed him by the genitiles and squeezed them causing him pain. Jannette then agressively climbed on top of Ben grabbing him by the throat and stated “Come on fuck me again.” When Ben refused Jannette began verbally abusing Ben and stated the following to him “Your just a looser”, “You’ll always be a looser”, “I’m going to cut of your dick off while your asleep”, “I’m going to bite off your balls.”
Anyway, she seems like such a nice girl.
I want to take her home to mama! I can’t believe she isn’t taken.
Did the suspect misspell “loser” as “looser?” If so, she’s more evil than I had thought.
Lets hear it for Jannette! She did what the rest of us only think about doing after wimpy sex session with a so-called-man. Maybe she should lead the Frustrated Women’s March…Hmmmmmmmmm…
Yeah, she’s a real class act. I often make threats of genital mutilation if I’m disappointed about things, also.

I happen to know the accused in this case, and I may point out that the story is “according to Ben” and thus is not proved to be truthful – I knew of the relationship between these two even before the alleged incident and I would like to say that the supposed victim Ben was actually abusive to Jannette and that this story was mostly concocted to cover his ass when Jannette called the police, who apparently sided with him for God-knows-what reason. I feel the wide posting of this alleged incident to be libelous and highly unfair to Jannette, whose side of the story has not been heard and who is in fact a very sweet girl.
I happen to know the accused. We are, in fact, very close friends. In the 4 or 5 years that I have known her, I have never even caught a remote glimpse into any sort of behavior on this level of irrationality. For starters, she is 5’5″ and under 120 pounds. Her ability to completely overwhelm this man is highly unlikely. Secondly, I also saw the bruises and scrapes on her after the incident, which my friend took pictures of. Jannette is someone who likes to write poetry, take artistic photos, and philosophize on the meaning of life. She is not a sex-crazed lunatic. The police records show that she was the one who called the police. Why would she have called them on herself? This wasn’t the first time I had seen bruises on her either. She said the other ones were from a time when he shoved her against a car out of anger. The story he was supposedly going to use was that he was saving her from a closing garage door. Not only this, but she showed me her phone records. He called her, some might say harassed her, after this incident occured. Jannette told me the reason was that he was still wanting to have sex, which of course didn’t happen. Sounds like a case of someone trying to cover their ass.
